Every theme includes personal transport and a Spanish-speaking driver to get you to and from each sight along the way.

What's included:

Self-guided tours to:
--Visit Valdivia museum. This museum presents more than 200 archaeological pieces representative of the first peoples that inhabited this part of the continent, belonging not only to the Valdivia culture but also to the Chorrera, Machalilla, Guangala and Manteño-Huancavilca cultures.
--Visit the Amantes de Sumpa museum in Santa Elena. The site museum is named after the burial of two skeletons that are found embraced and that are part of the cemetery of the inhabitants of the Las Vegas Culture, catalogued as one of the oldest in the American continent, around 6,000 BC.
--Sanctuary of Blanca Estrella Del Mar in Olon has a design in the shape of a sailing boat with a deck and prow, where the image of the Virgin Mary is found inside a shell on a carved wooden altar. It is one of the most striking sanctuaries in the country.

--Try local seafood in the traditional market in Salinas. Ceviche, encebollado or "secos" are part of the local gastronomy that can be found offered here.
--Sip fresh-squeezed orange juice or coconut juice straight from the vine in front of the ocean and while catching the breeze of the deep blue sea right next to you.
--Eat a traditional costeño meal, based of fish, plantain and rice, while sitting next to the Guayas River in a traditionally-decorated restaurant with 1920s-vibes.
--Fish of the day? Visit Chanduy, a real fishermen village where you can have the recommendation of the best fish they've caught on a particular day and then freshly cooked for you.

Self-guided tours to ONE of the following:
--40 minutes from Santa Elena, Palmar offers a walk through the estuary in which there are 4 varieties of mangrove and 36 species of birds. The red crab and, to a lesser extent, the blue crab, as well as other non-edible varieties, also live here.
--Chongón-Colonche mountain range in Dos Mangas is a 5 km hike to reach the village. Visitors can make tagua handicrafts or weave toquilla straw. Dos Mangas also has an interpretation center where native guides lead tourists along an ecological trail. You can go on foot or on horseback.
--Hike next to the beach? Explore the Valdivia to Atravesado hike, an easy and cool walk on the sand alongside the Pacific Ocean. See the local culture first hand, including fishermen.
